Modern I (Ages 8 & Up Pre - Requisite: Pre - Ballet) |
Creative Movement I & II - Designed to introduce young dancers to creative expression, movement with dance props and the introduction of basic ballet positions and stretching. Focus is placed on music identification, locomotor skill development and rhythm.
Pre-requisite: Ages 3-6, no prior training required
Pre – Ballet - Designed to introduce dancers to fundamental ballet positions, basic dance terminology and strengthening exercises. Focus is placed on music sensitivity, rhythm, discipline and repetitious movement.
Pre-requisite: Ages 6 & above
Ballet I - Designed to focus on body alignment, flexibility and technical strength required for more complex combinations, terminology and movement quality for dance performances.
Pre-requisite: At least 2 years Pre- Ballet or approval from the Director
Intermediate Ballet & Pointe – Designed to fine-tune technique and individual artistic expression in a challenging dance class environment. Emphasis is on advanced combinations, improvisation and technique enhancement.
Pre-requisite: Approval from the Director only
Jr Hip Hop – Designed to teach the latest in hip-hop and street dance trends in a high energy classroom environment. Class includes warm - up, technique and age appropriate urban dance movement. Emphasis is placed on individual style, improvisation and musicality.
Pre-requisite: Ages 7 - 14, no prior dance training required.
Modern – Designed to focus on introducing contemporary and theatrical dance by using abstract movement and technique for the entire body and soul.
Pre-requisite: Age 8 & above, at least 1 year previous dance experience required
Adult Ballet – Designed to help with toning, strength and general flexibility. Class introduces fundamental ballet concepts and technique including barre and floor work, stretching, muscle tone, and warming up and down with a strong emphasizes on balance.
Pre-requisite: Age 18 & above, no prior dance training required
Scholarship assistance for eligible students are available on a case by case scenario each year.
For tuition rates, please contact the school office @ 901-870-4348. Ballet On Wheels accepts cash, personal checks, direct debit, Visa and MasterCard as acceptable forms of payment. Registration fees are non-refundable.

If you are interested in enrolling in the Ballet On Wheels Dance School here is how to do it:
1. Click Online Enrollment below to enroll electronically and mail your $35 non refundable registration fee to: Ballet On Wheels Dance School, 1857 Jefferson Ave – 38104; or
2. Print out, complete and fax the enrollment application to: 901.278.0171 and mail the registration fees to the address above; or
3. Print out and complete the application below and mail it along with the registration fees to the address above.
*Registration will be confirmed via e-mail after registration fees have been received; Full tuition will be due on the first class meeting.
*For your convenience, Ballet On Wheels Dance school offers direct debit for monthly tuition at a slightly reduced tuition fee. Please ask for me information and details.

Dance On Wheels is the satellite program to Ballet On Wheels, Theatre of Dance ballet school and dance company.
Dance On Wheels, partners with various Memphis City Schools and other community based organizations offering after school dance programs throughout the year. Dance on Wheels is a cost efficient program that brings dance to your community or school. At a minimum, classes are held once a week. The Program offers flexible day or after school dance hours during the school year, Monday- Friday. Please call for classes customized to fit your needs or to request Dance on Wheels at your school or community organization!
